This home features a fireplace within a column that divides the living and dining areas. The design challenge was to integrate the hearth with the entire column. Rather than adding stone work to just the fireplace, we treated the column as a feature design element.

Together with McGinnis Tile and Marble, we designed a custom fireplace with detailed masonry work to enhance the column. Utilizing two types of stones: Jerusalem Pearl Leather and Jerusalem Pearl Rainfall, purchased from Ceramic Matrix.
